How often are deliveries made?

That varies whether it's for newspapers, print jobs, and Amazon packages.

Newspaper deliveries: Thursday mornings from for the Shelbyville Eagle

Exceptions: Holidays that fall on a Thursday, meaning deliveries will be done on a Friday 

Amazon package deliveries: 7 days a week Exceptions: Select Amazon-observed holidays, inclement winter weather, issue during transit w/ Amazon DSP driver, vehicle breakdowns, or pre-arranged non-service day

Print order deliveries: When requested

Where is my Amazon package?

We do not have location access for packages before we receive our route.

Package locations don't change until after we scan them in to start the route. You should be able to track in real time (or close to it) where along the route you fall with a rough ETA.

If it was not delivered that day, there are usually three reasons: 

1) It didn't arrive with the "milk run" from Pekin

2) Extenuating circumstances led it to be carried over to the next day

3) The stop was more than 15 minutes away from the previous stop AND it was considered the final stop on the route

What time do you make deliveries?

That varies.

Newspaper deliveries:

Thursdays 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. (Shelbyville Eagle)

Exceptions apply

Amazon package deliveries: 

Variables: route arrival, existing projects, processing time, weather conditions, road conditions, and package count

Route can start as early as 11 a.m.

Route can run as late as 9 p.m.

Print order deliveries: 

When requested, during business hours
